We had a water main break at our house and booked a last minute stay. The suite was great, the complimentary drinks and snacks at social hour (and the bartender was a amazing) was a plus and then the free breakfast on top of that was nice. Staff was exceptional as well. Biggest downside was the indoor pool. It was a bit run down and it was advertised on their site as a saltwater, heated pool. It was not saltwater nor heated. But overall, we had a great stay and will be back again.

I’ve reviewed this hotel before, and the main reasons it still holds four stars for me are the manager’s reception, the comfortable beds, the quiet rooms, and the convenient location if you’re flying out the next morning. The hotel and rooms are definitely dated, but they are clean. The most recent disappointment is the parking situation. The parking lot appears to have been leased or sold to the airport, which now means paying $15 per night to park. The process is also inconvenient, as you have to scan a QR code, go to a website, enter your information, and submit payment by credit card. That said, it’s possible all the hotels in this area have made similar arrangements with the airport. I just haven’t confirmed that yet.

We reserved a block of rooms at a reduced rate with embassy suites for our youngest son's wedding. Lina and Maggie made the contracting process through booking rooms smooth and took care of every request promptly. We have previously stayed at other embassy suites and love the large interior atrium whether you have one room or several. In our case, we had several family members and friends coming from out of town, so this hotel worked out great being close to the airport and the rooms being equipped to sleep 6. The complimentary breakfast with the made to order omelet was great with many options to start the day out. The staff was very friendly, especially the grill cook, and we looked forward to seeing him every morning. We also met a special needs staff member clearing the tables, so it warmed our hearts that the embassy suites has expanded its community reach to include this segment of society and provide work opportunities and purpose. The managers evening hour was also an added bonus and the large atrium became our gathering area for eating, socializing and playing games. With all the rooms facing the atrium, it was awesome to be able to look down to see who might be on the main floor. The mind blowing experience is what happened the wedding night. We had reserved a corner room for our son and his bride, but Sybrina at the front desk called the prior day to ask if we would prefer to use the presidential suite on the 8th floor at the same price, so that was a wonderful surprise for the wedding couple. The only downside was that there is a parking fee, but there were many positives that outweigh the fee, so we would definitely recommend this hotel and will come back when in the area.

We stayed here last month. I used to work here so I thought it would be fun to show my kids where I used to work (First job almost 30 years ago). The room was clean. Hot breakfast was still included, it was great. The only thing I was not a fan of was that I had to pay for parking my car. That was not a thing in the 1990s. The hotel is still in great shape. We will likely stay here again in 2026... Even with having to pay for parking.

To whom it may concern, I travel extensively for business and spend approximately 200 nights per year in hotels. I would like to recognize Manager Cheryll, Assistant Manager Kristi, and Alex at the front desk for their outstanding professionalism, courtesy, and commitment to guest service. Their consistent attentiveness and genuine hospitality reflect the highest standards of excellence. Experiences like this are the reason I have remained a loyal Hilton Honors member for more than twenty years. Please extend my sincere appreciation to each of them for representing your property and brand so exceptionally well. Respectfully, Brad Smith

United caused us to be stuck in Kansas city for 24 hours and they were very accommodating. When united gave us a hotel voucher they went above and beyond to ensure we were able to apply it to our room, when the website link didn't populate them as an option. I highly suggest anyone who needs shuttle service or needs to stay up by the airport should stay at this hotel. Additionally, the shuttle, as long as there are not scheduled airport shuttles will take you within two miles free of charge that includes AMC, starbucks, shopping, and a restaurant section. Thank you all that worked the front desk that helped us we will always remember that! Also the bartending crew was so much fun, and deserve a raise with a Christmas bonus!!

Alex was absolutely fantastic I want that to be known first! We were there for a week at a business training. On Monday they were met with the trouble of trying to place hundreds of people into rooms and ran into a personnel problem with not being able to clean all rooms. They handled this fabulously! They were able to work it out with other hotels close by to get everyone accommodated. They knocked that out of the park with the time frame they had! All of our food from the breakfast, the lunches and the dinners were all above expectations! My son is still talking about the omelettes for breakfast! The pool was heated and it had great availability, (not over crowded or anything) it was clean and I never had an issue with it all week! Lobby was always very nice and clean and welcoming! We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar during happy hour and the bar tender was amazing! After our first drink she remembered what we wanted each time we went ( the entire week) she was so kind!!! Our rooms were clean the property felt safe for my vehicle, and we were able to check in early and out late which was AMAZING for us driving from so far (10 hrs). Location was great, lots of food and stores around within a 5 minute drive. I was only 30 ish minutes from another training I had so the location was very accommodating!! I had the pleasure of dealing with Alex multiple times and even told him he's going to hate me by the end of the week to wich he joked back about how the week started. Definitely one of the friendliest people I met in Kansas City

Shout out for 3 employees--Ethan at the front desk helped us out again with booking last month. He's always pleasant and very helpful. I realize he's leaving soon for Oklahoma. Alex is very personable and helpful, too. Always a smile. And, Karen in the dining area whom we've had the pleasure of enjoying her service over the past 5 years. Always a smile, attention to details and customer needs, truly a credit to your hospitality. Better hold onto her. It would be a shame to lose her. She's a keeper. Until next time.
